Answer
Hi Albert,

OrgCache not instantiated exceptions usually mean that Yellowfin cannot connect to the database. Please see the topic at http://www.yellowfin.com.au/YFForum.i4?thread=90210&post=0

Hi,

I check the link you'd gave but how can I make sure that the Yellowfin database is referenced correctly in Yellowfin\appserver\webapps\ROOT\WEB-INF\web.xml. ?

Thanks!

Hi Albert,

You will need to check that the JDBCUrl Parameter is correct (that it references the correct database type, hostname and database), and that the username and password are correct.

More information on what exactly is causing the error can be found in the jdbc.log file in the Yellowfin\appserver\logs\ directory.

Thanks,
Steve
