How to turn off the "My Reports"/Search sections
Question Asked
Hi David,

I tried to change the configuration to turn off the "My Reports" in both Dashboard and Reports List pages, and the "Search" box in the Reports List page. But I can't make it works.

Can you please give me help?

Thanks,
Michael

Hi Michael,

There is no option to remove the 'My Reports' section from the dashboard or the report list, an enhancement request has been created (TASK ID = 102801) so that this setting can be added to a future build.

The search box is an important tool and must be displayed in the report list, as we need to give users the ability to find reports.
An enhancement request has been created (TASK ID = 108428) so that this can be considered for a future build.

Hi david,

The strange thing is, after we set "Off" for "Associated Reports Localtion", the "My Reports" section was gone for 2 out 3 broswers we openned at the same time.

Any suggestions?

Hi Michael,

Are you using different user accounts in these browsers?

The reason I ask, if the client doesn't have;
-access to any draft reports
-has not opened a report
-subscribed to any reports
-access to associated reports
-reports in their inbox the

there won't be anything to display under the 'My Reports' menu.

Is this the case? Or are you using the same user across all 3 browsers?

David
